Reset

If the cells are not in deep discharge, the problem will be that the BMS goes into a fault mode, and must be reset. Look at the clip here:

Short version:

• Open
• Cut the tape up over the BMS
• Remove the sense connector
• Remove B- (screwed connector)
• Use a multimeter to measure B- to B+ until the reading goes down to below 20 mV
  • B- is called VG on the board (voltage ground)
  • P- is called DISC on the board (discharge)
  • P+ is called PACK+ on the board
  • The red RS multimeters go crazy with such low voltage, use other one
• Same on P- to B+
• Plug back B-, then the sense
• Test charging
• Put everything back together
