Wisper 36V

We see three types of Wisper batteries, all 36V:

• Short brick
• Long brick
• Pillion (rare)

We can do recells on all of them. The bricks have a common port BMS, and the lock switches the power line, therefore we can use the Daly BMSs!

The short brick can fit 40 cells with the rectangular spacers. The case has to be adapted a little. (cut out some bits)

The long brick can fit 60 cells with the hexagonal spacers, no cutting needed.

Rebuilding

Takes about 1,5 hours altogether.

Here I should have inserted an isolation plate to cover the cells from the overlaps. Really stupid this way. I ended up installing the isolation plate later, but it would have been much easier to install it at this step.

  

You need a LOT of padding/foam to make sure the battery is not jumping around inside the box.

Do NOT put the padding in the middle, but at the edges, where the screws are. Otherwise the box will not close evenly.
