Black LFP pallet jack battery
- 24V, 20Ah
- 8S1P LFP with pouch cells
- UART communication most likely
- In this battery, B2 was puffed and low voltage, the rest of the cells fine.
- The bucket is held together by 4 long M5 bolts, with H5 heads.
- The bucket is made of 3 parts
- There are 2 connectors on the bottom
- 2 pin power
- 4 pin charger + communication
This 'peep hole' and button is on the top cover, they have no function at all.
This seems to be the positive supply for the BMS.
This goes to the 4-pin connector on the bottom.

This is exactly the same.
Or this:

A useful keyword to use is AMP20 cell, and 227mm is the key number.
Reconstructing the battery
- I noticed that the original battery had plastic tape layers between the cells to provide additional security.
- The bottoms of the screws also had some cover to isolate them a bit
- Our cells have 40mm wide tabs, the originals were 45mm
- They are identical, 7mm thick, same dimensions
- The bottom is really tight. The original battery cells are prepped for this!
Our cells are tiny bit taller w/ the tabs. That is a problem, it is super hard to close the box.
But fuck yeah I shall make my own tops!
